My main work is fashion design. I have a passion for doing hands on work and sewing fulfills that. Every project I do, weather it's designing and making an evening gown, laying out a patch work quilt or heming a pair of pants amazes me. Taking a 2 demtional object like fabric and cutting it and poking it with thread to making it 3 demtional, visual appealing and wearbale is facinating!
Inspiration: When I design I start oout with an image in my head of silhouette, consturction and extra features if apprpriate in my design. From there it jumps into a technical flat or pattern pieces. I enjoy working with colors and prints. My come from my travels, architecture, mucis culture and Mother Nature.
