Born and raised in Quincy, on the South Shore of Massachusetts, graduated with a BFA in Visual Design and Typography. Spent 22 years in California, bouncing from San Diego to Monterey to Berkeley and San Francisco, working as a graphic designer and production artist in newspaper and textbook publishing; also spent time as a massage therapist. Recently relocated back to Massachusetts to be near family in Gloucester. Has been working in current medium of tie-dye since the early 1990's on and off, traveling the country and most recently as a member of Local Colors Artist Cooperative in Gloucester.
