About Michael Foley

Michael Foley is a former professional mechanical engineer and word carver who has in recent years pursued stone sculpture as a full time occupation. The majority of his work is in locally sourced stones such as granite, basalt and gabro, and to a lesser extent, granites and marbles from near and far. Michael carves abstract sculptures often based upon mathematical constructs, as well as sailing craft and marine life.
