Christine Molitor Johnson, a Newburyport native, began her study of art in the fall of 1994. Christine works in oils and enjoys capturing the nuances of nature and the luminosity of the landscapes, water and skies that surround her. She strives for expressive and textured brushwork in her work. Her paintings can be found in private collections on the North and South Shore, Maine, Chicago, Boston, Cape Cod, Rye, NH, New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Florida, Bermuda, Ireland and England.
