On Feb 26th the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (seARTS) held its 10th annual meeting at Gloucester Engineering thanks to the close ties formed over the last several years. The CEO of Gloucester Engineering, Mark Steele was there to welcome seARTS and the Cape Ann arts community. Among the great news of the evening was the announcement of the next Art Loan program to be hosted at Gloucester Engineering. A special feature of the evening were four Peh-Chak-Cha presentations. Also known as “PK” the translation from Japanese means “Chit Chat.” PK originated in Tokyo, Japan, in 2003, as a fun opportunity for creative people get together and share their ideas, inspirations and work. Marty Morgan, Rob Diebboll, Karen Ristuben and Maureen Aylward each gave a unique presentation of 15 slides with 20 seconds per slide of storytelling. More more about the news and presentations for the evening, please view the slideshow and videos featured on this page!
